Ramallah, June 21 (Petra) – Israeli occupation forces carried out a wide-scale campaign of raids, incursions and arrests across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem on Sunday, targeting cities, towns, villages and refugee camps.

The operations included house searches, arrests, field interrogations, road closures and the establishment of military checkpoints. Meanwhile, Israeli illegal settlers continued attacks against Palestinians in several areas.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club said Israeli occupation forces stormed multiple locations throughout the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem amid heavy gunfire and arrested 20 Palestinians, alleging that they were wanted by Israeli authorities.

Several areas of the occupied West Bank witnessed attacks by extremist settlers targeting agricultural lands, homes, facilities and infrastructure. The attacks included raids, vandalism and assaults on Palestinian farmers.

In the southern Hebron region, settlers released cattle among fruit trees in the Khallat al-Homs area of Yatta and blocked an entrance to the Ashkara area south of the town with earth mounds.

In Nablus, illegal settlers entered lands belonging to the village of Qaryut and attacked a house in the al-Harayeq area of Beita. Additional attacks targeted homes in the village of Burin, as well as areas in Beit Furik and Salem, where farmers were prevented from harvesting their crops.

In Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, attacks were reported in the towns of Turmus Ayya, Sinjil and Burqa. Illegal settlers reportedly entered agricultural lands, intimidated residents and grazed livestock on Palestinian-owned property.

In Jenin Governorate, illegal settlers demolished an agricultural shed in the town of Arraba and reportedly attacked farmers and activists in nearby areas.

In Tubas Governorate, attacks were reported near Tayasir, east of the city, where water pipelines were vandalised and irrigation infrastructure, including water meters and network components, was damaged in the Atouf area southeast of Tubas.

In Hebron, settlers reportedly entered the Old City under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, while raids were carried out on homes in Yatta and surrounding areas.

Reports indicated that property was stolen, including a caravan in the Za'tout area northeast of Yatta.

The attacks form part of what Palestinians describe as an ongoing escalation targeting agricultural lands and the livelihoods of residents across various governorates of the occupied West Bank.
