Amman, August 6 (Petra) – President of the Jordanian Contractors Association (JCA), Fouad Duwairi, affirmed the "brotherly, deep and historic" ties that connect contractors associations in Jordan and Syria.
In a statement Thursday, he cited mutual keenness to enhance joint cooperation and exchange expertise in various fields of the construction sector.
The Syrian Construction Contractors Syndicate (SCCS), headed by its Fawaz Junaid, and its advisor, Abdul Rahman Suleiman, participated in the 14th Construction Forum, which coincided with inauguration of the 19th International Exhibition for Building Technology and Engineering Industries.
Urging continued joint communication, both sides said this effort would develop professional and engineering work, open fresh horizons for cooperation between the two countries' contractors and allow exchange of expertise in the building, construction, and construction technology fields.
On its goals, the forum serves as a platform that brought together leading experts, specialists, and professionals in the contracting sector to discuss industry developments, future challenges and opportunities, and strengthen partnerships among various stakeholders in this field.
