Jerash, March 1 (Petra) - Governor of Jerash Malik Khraisat discussed during a meeting of the governorate’s executive council, attended by administrative governors and directors of public departments, the latest developments in light of the current situation and stressed the need to maintain full readiness across various institutions.

Khraisat praised the efforts of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army and the security agencies, commending their significant role in protecting Jordan’s skies and land and maintaining the country’s security and stability.

He stressed that Jordan will remain resilient against challenges thanks to its wise Hashemite leadership and the unity of its people, noting that national unity remains strong and immune to attempts aimed at undermining it or disrupting social cohesion.

The governor emphasized the importance of strengthening loyalty and belonging to the Hashemite leadership and called for all public institutions to stand in solidarity with the security agencies, adding that the executive council operates in a team spirit to confront various circumstances and that serving the nation and citizens remains the top priority.

He also urged intensifying inspection tours of markets through specialized committees to monitor prices and the availability of commodities, noting that basic foodstuffs are available in sufficient quantities and that supply to the governorate is conducted regularly through approved supply chains to ensure market stability and protect consumers.

During the meeting, department directors in the executive council highlighted the role of security agencies in maintaining safety and security, praising their high readiness to deal with emergencies, and stressing the continued provision of high-quality public services to citizens with efficiency and responsibility.
