Amman, Apr. 17 (Petra)-- A slight rise in temperatures is expected across Jordan on Friday, accompanied by unstable weather conditions. The weather will be generally warm in most regions and relatively hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Clouds will appear at medium and high altitudes, gradually increasing at various levels throughout the day. Scattered showers are forecast in different parts of the Kingdom, occasionally accompanied by thunder and hail.

During the evening hours, rainfall may become heavy at times, particularly in eastern areas, raising the risk of flash floods in valleys and low-lying regions. Winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly, moderate to occasionally active, stirring dust in many areas and reducing horizontal visibility.

The Meteorological Department has warned of potential flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas, especially in eastern Jordan. It also cautioned against reduced visibility due to dust, particularly in Badia regions, as well as the danger of thunderstorms and slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall.

On Saturday, a noticeable drop in temperatures is expected, with partly cloudy and mild conditions over the highlands and plains, and warmer weather elsewhere. There is a chance of light rain showers in limited parts of southern and eastern regions. Winds will be southwesterly, moderate in speed, and occasionally active, causing dust.

A slight further decrease in temperatures is forecast for Sunday, bringing partly cloudy and mild conditions across most areas, while remaining warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be westerly and moderate, with occasional activity.

On Monday, temperatures are expected to drop slightly again, with generally mild weather prevailing across most regions and warmer conditions continuing in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Low clouds will appear, and winds will be westerly and moderate, occasionally becoming active.

Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 29 degrees Celsius, and a low of 13 degrees.

Highs in the port city of Aqaba will reach 38 degrees during the day, sliding to 24 degrees at night.
