Amman, June 30 (Petra) -- President of Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) Khalil Tawfiq met on Tuesday with a delegation from the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CCAB) to discuss expanding trade and investment ties between Jordan and Brazil.

The CCAB invited Tawfiq to serve as a keynote speaker at the Brazil and Arab Countries Economic Forum 2026, scheduled to take place in São Paulo, Brazil, on August 25.

The meeting focused on the forum's value as a strategic launchpad, bringing public and private leaders together to discuss logistics, energy, the digital economy, and cross-sector investments.

They reviewed plans for a Brazilian product exhibition in Amman in October 2026, featuring companies from the food processing, construction, furniture, pharmaceutical, apparel, and coffee sectors. Building on the success of 2025's Jordanian-Brazilian Economic Forum, the event aims to boost Brazil's market presence in Jordan and forge new trade and investment ties.

Tawfiq said Jordan's strategic location, extensive free trade agreements, and logistics infrastructure position the Kingdom as a regional gateway and re-export hub for neighboring markets.

He added that the Economic Modernization Vision (EMV) created an attractive investment environment, opening opportunities in food industries, pharmaceuticals, energy, trade, tourism, and information technology.

Tawfiq proposed that Brazilian business delegations include tourism operators to promote Jordan's religious, medical, and cultural tourism, alongside its role as a regional economic and logistics center.

The CCAB expressed its dedication to scaling up cooperation with the JCC, noting that both the scheduled economic forum in São Paulo and exhibition in Amman serve as gateways for new business partnerships and investment.
