Amman, Sept. 17 (Petra)-- The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs on Thursday condemned the Houthi militia’s drone attack on Taif Governorate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in one death, injuries to two others, and material damage.

The ministry described the attack as a flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, a threat to its security, stability, and territorial integrity, and a blatant breach of international law and the UN Charter.

Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Fouad Majali affirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures it takes to safeguard its security, stability, resources, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

Majali also extended his sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
