Amman, July 7 (Petra) – Jordan on Tuesday condemned the attack targeting a Saudi tanker as it transited the Strait of Hormuz as a blatant violation of international law and a threat to the security and safety of international maritime navigation.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that Jordan condemns the attack and stressed the Kingdom's solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The ministry stated that Jordan supports measures taken by Saudi Arabia to safeguard its security, stability and national resources.
