Amman, March 3 (Petra) -- Jordan condemned in the "strongest" terms the two Iranian attacks that targeted the buildings of the United States embassies in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
The Kingdom described the strikes as a "flagrant" violation of international law, the 1949 Geneva Conventions and the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which guarantee the inviolability of diplomatic premises and the immunity of mission staff.
In a statement Tuesday, Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs affirmed Jordan’s "full" solidarity with Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and its support for all steps and measures they take to confront the Iranian attacks, protect their security and stability, and safeguard their citizens' safety.
