Amman, May 23 (Petra) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed condolences to the government and people of China following the explosion at a coal mine in Shanxi Province in northern China. Ministry spokesperson Fouad Majali affirmed Jordan's solidarity and full support for China, extending condolences to the families of the victims.

He wished a speedy recovery to those injured and expressed hopes for the safe return of the missing.
