Baghdad, July 26 (Petra) -- Iraqi Minister of Trade Mustafa Al-Ani and Jordan's Ambassador to Iraq Maher Al Tarawneh underscored the importance of strengthening economic and trade relations between Jordan and Iraq and increasing bilateral trade to serve mutual interests and expand prospects for cooperation.

During a meeting in Baghdad, the two sides discussed the importance of convening the next session of the Jordanian-Iraqi Joint Economic and Trade Committee in the Iraqi capital to advance shared priorities and deepen bilateral economic and commercial cooperation.

Al-Ani also invited Jordan to participate in the next Baghdad International Fair, saying the kingdom's participation would provide an opportunity to strengthen trade and investment partnerships and showcase business opportunities available in both countries.
