Amman, May 2 (Petra) -- Jordan Islamic Bank has received the 2025 Excellence in Quality Award from Commerzbank for the second consecutive year, recognizing the institution’s high standards in commercial payments and interbank transfers.

The German lender granted the award based on the bank's efficiency in executing automated straight-through processing for international transfers. The criteria focus on accuracy and the minimization of risks and delays in cross-border transactions.

Commerzbank’s annual rankings identify the top three Jordanian banks and select institutions globally based on technical proficiency in payment operations. Jordan Islamic Bank was selected following a review of its performance in handling commercial and interbank transactions throughout 2025.

Hussein Said, Chief Executive Officer of Jordan Islamic Bank, said the recognition confirms the success of the bank’s ongoing efforts to modernize payment systems and adhere to international regulatory standards.

"This achievement reflects our commitment to improving technical solutions that strengthen payment infrastructure and enhance international payment facilitation," Said said.

He added that the bank remains focused on elevating customer satisfaction and strengthening its global banking relationships through the adoption of advanced digital and operational frameworks.
