Cairo, January 13 (Petra) Minister of Youth Raed Adwan participated in the 49th regular session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports, held Monday at the offices of the Arab League in Cairo.
The session was attended by Arab ministers of youth and sports and chaired by the United Arab Emirates, with the participation of League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit.

He noted that the Ministry of Youth is preparing to launch the National Youth Strategy 2026–2030, based on a comprehensive national youth survey that will provide accurate data on young people’s conditions, priorities and aspirations, ensuring more effective and responsive youth policies.
Adwan praised the achievements of Jordanian athletes at Arab and international levels, attributing these successes to the continued support of His Majesty King Abdullah II and the close follow-up of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II.
Prior to the session, Jordan participated in the 72nd meeting of the Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports and the 46th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Arab Fund for Youth and Sports Activities.
