Amman, Mar. 16 (Petra) -- Jordan Post announced the release of two special commemorative postal cards marking two significant occasions: the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr holiday and the anniversary of the Battle of Karameh. The cards will be available to the public starting Tuesday morning.

In a statement issued on Monday, the company said each card will be sold for JD 1.40 and can be purchased at the Jordan Post headquarters.

The Eid Al-Fitr card celebrates one of the most important religious holidays in the Islamic calendar, reflecting the spirit of unity, generosity, and social connection associated with the occasion. Meanwhile, the card commemorating the Battle of Karameh honors a landmark moment in Jordan’s national history and pays tribute to the bravery of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army in defending the country and the Arab and Islamic nations.

Jordan Post noted that issuing commemorative postal materials helps preserve important religious and national milestones while also supporting the interests of stamp and postal memorabilia collectors. The company said such initiatives highlight its commitment to documenting key moments in the Kingdom’s history.

Those interested in obtaining the cards can visit the Postal Museum and Stamps Directorate at the Jordan Post building in the Muqablain area, located next to the Jordan Radio and Television headquarters.
