Jordan Post, UWallet Partner to Launch Digital Postal Wallet

Amman, Apr. 16 (Petra)-- The Jordan Post Company has signed a strategic partnership agreement with UWallet, a digital financial solutions provider, to launch the "Digital Postal Wallet," in a move aimed at expanding financial inclusion and enhancing access to digital financial services across the Kingdom.
According to a statement issued by Jordan Post on Thursday, the agreement was signed by Jordan Post Director General Hanadi Al-Tayeb and UWallet CEO Alaa Al-Nashiwat, in the presence of Chairperson of Jordan Post Sami Al-Dawood.
Under the agreement, UWallet will provide its licensed and secure digital platform fully compliant with Central Bank of Jordan regulations to operate the digital wallet. The platform will ensure regulatory compliance, service continuity, and the protection of customer data in line with the highest cybersecurity standards.
Leveraging its wide geographic reach and strong public trust as a long-established national institution, Jordan Post will enable citizens to easily and securely access digital financial services.
The partnership comes as part of joint efforts to support digital transformation and deliver innovative financial solutions that facilitate individuals’ access to safe and reliable financial services.
The Digital Postal Wallet will allow users to open e-wallet accounts and carry out a range of digital financial transactions, including payments and money transfers, through a licensed platform designed to provide a secure and seamless user experience.
