Amman, May 6 (Petra) – Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Smeirat discussed ongoing efforts to strengthen Jordan's position as a regional hub for technology and innovation and to build impactful partnerships that support sustainable growth in line with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II.

According to a statement issued Wednesday by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Smeirat said Jordan's participation in the SelectUSA Investment Summit in the United States aims to enhance economic and technological cooperation between the two countries and attract high-quality investments to the Kingdom.

He added that his official visit to the United States included a series of meetings with American officials, institutions and companies on the sidelines of the summit to deepen partnerships, attract investment and open new opportunities for Jordanian companies to expand into global markets.

Smeirat said that the participation of leading Jordanian companies reflects the progress of the Kingdom's innovation ecosystem, as well as its growing competitiveness and expertise in the technology and digital economy sectors.
