Amman, Mar. 27 (Petra)-- The Jordanian Field Hospital South Gaza/9 organized a blood donation campaign on Friday to support the healthcare sector in Gaza Strip and help save the lives of patients and the injured.

The campaign saw wide participation from the hospital’s staff.

The force commander stated that the initiative comes as part of ongoing efforts to provide aid and relief to people in the Gaza Strip, given the continuous need for blood supplies for the wounded.

He added that the hospital remains committed to its humanitarian and medical mission, delivering care with dedication to those in need.

For his part, the hospital director said the campaign reflects the spirit of solidarity and cooperation between the Jordanian and Palestinian peoples.

He noted that medical teams are working tirelessly to provide the best possible healthcare services and support the strained health sector amid the current conditions in Gaza.

It is worth noting that the Jordanian Field Hospital South Gaza/9 began operations in mid-February and has since provided medical treatment to more than 15,000 patients and injured individuals. The hospital has also performed over 280 major and minor surgeries since its deployment to the Strip.
