Amman, July 23 (Petra) – A medical team at the Jordanian Field Hospital Nablus/11 successfully removed an underarm mass from a young girl in a specialized surgical procedure, further underscoring the hospital’s continued efforts to provide advanced medical care to residents of Nablus Governorate.
Following comprehensive clinical and diagnostic evaluations, doctors determined that the mass required surgical intervention. The procedure was carried out using approved medical protocols and specialized surgical techniques to ensure the patient’s safety.
The medical team confirmed the successful completion of the operation, with the mass fully removed. A tissue sample was subsequently sent to specialized laboratories for histopathological analysis to identify its nature and determine the appropriate follow-up treatment.
The hospital administration said the operation reflects the ongoing humanitarian and medical support delivered by the Royal Medical Services, under Royal directives, to the people of Nablus Governorate, providing access to specialized healthcare services.
Since launching its mission in 2023, the Jordanian Field Hospital Nablus/11 has provided medical care to more than 316,395 patients and carried out 2,115 major and minor surgical procedures. The hospital continues to operate an integrated healthcare system, offering 24-hour emergency services, radiology, laboratory testing, and nursing care.
