Medina, May 19 (Petra) - Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs continued transporting Jordanian pilgrims from Medina to Mecca cities in Saudi Arabia, as part of a comprehensive plan that covered both pilgrims and administrative staff.

This move was carried out, based on a "precise" schedule that ensured smooth movement and pilgrim safety, reflecting the ministry's ongoing efforts to ensure a successful Hajj season and provide the best possible services.

As part of the field preparations, the Jordanian medical mission traveled to Mecca to provide necessary healthcare for pilgrims arriving in the city.

In a statement to "Petra" Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Head of the Jordanian Hajj Missions, Dr. Mohammad Khalaileh, said the ministry is working to avoid peak times for pilgrims under a well-planned transportation strategy that guarantees the "highest levels of organization and efficiency." The minister noted this effort would facilitate the pilgrims' movement to perform their rituals "smoothly and peacefully".

Khalaileh noted the ministry "directly" oversees the preparation of rooms reserved for pilgrims in both Medina and Mecca.

He stated the ministry also monitors and works to improve the service level and quality to ensure a "comfortable and safe" environment for pilgrims.

The ministry, he noted, is continuing to develop the Hajj services system in coordination with the Saudi relevant authorities, reflecting a positive image of Jordanian Hajj missions and enhancing the quality of the pilgrims' experience during their rituals.

During his previous field visits to the accommodations of Jordanian pilgrims in Medina, Khalaileh checked on the service level, listened to their feedback and needs, stressing the importance of direct follow-up to provide the best possible services.
