Amman, July 13 (Petra) -- A majority of Jordanians express optimism about the kingdom's economic trajectory and personal financial prospects, according to the second-quarter Ipsos Consumer Confidence Index released on Monday.

The survey revealed that 65 percent of Jordanians believe affairs in the kingdom are moving in the right direction, while 60 percent of respondents said they view the national economy's performance and trajectory positively.

The report also highlighted a positive outlook among citizens regarding their near-term personal finances. Fifty-four percent of those surveyed expect their personal financial situation to improve over the next six months, while 16 percent anticipate their financial status will remain steady at current levels.

The findings indicate a growing sense of public optimism regarding personal financial capabilities, driven by expectations of broader economic recovery and sector-specific improvements.

The rising index scores reflect growing public trust in government-led efforts to stimulate growth, support productive industries, attract investments, and expand job opportunities across the kingdom.
