Jordan's new ambassador to Kenya presents credentials to president

Nairobi, Mar. 5 (Petra) – Ambassador Rolan Mahmoud Samara on Thursday presented credentials to Kenyan President William Ruto as the Kingdom's accredited and resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Kenya, during a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Nairobi.
Samara conveyed tHis Majesty King Abdullah II's greetings to President Ruto and his wishes for further progress and prosperity for the friendly Kenyan people.
President Ruto, in turn, asked Samara to convey his greetings and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II, praising His Majesty's wise policies and the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries.
The president also expressed the Kenyan government's interest in strengthening and developing bilateral relations, wishing the Kingdom and the Jordanian people continued progress and prosperity.
The presentation of credentials ceremony was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, a number of its department directors, and other officials from the Presidential Palace.
