Ramtha, April 2 (Petra) -- Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) has advanced in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026, posting strong gains across health and technology disciplines and reinforcing its position as a regional academic hub.

Dentistry led the performance, ranking 34th globally and first locally, according to a university statement. Nursing remained among the top 100 worldwide, while pharmacy, data science, and artificial intelligence moved into the top 150. Medicine ranked within the top 250 globally, reflecting continued improvements in academic delivery, clinical training, and research output.

A broader set of programs entered the top 300 globally, with additional disciplines recording measurable gains and securing positions in the rankings, pointing to sustained, system-wide progress.

The university attributed the results to improvements in key indicators, including academic reputation, graduate outcomes, research impact, and international engagement through partnerships and collaboration.

The latest rankings strengthen JUST’s standing as a regional center for health education and an increasingly attractive destination for students and researchers from Jordan and abroad.

University officials said the gains reflect ongoing institutional efforts to enhance teaching and research in line with a strategy focused on strengthening global competitiveness and expanding the university’s role in knowledge production and community service.
