Amman, March 2 (Petra) His Majesty King Abdullah II received a phone call from United States President Donald Trump on Monday.

The call covered the recent escalations in the region and their implications for regional and global security and stability, with His Majesty affirming Jordan’s absolute rejection of Iran’s attacks on its territory and on a number of countries in the region.

The King emphasised the need to work towards achieving comprehensive and sustainable calm that would contribute to restoring stability and achieving peace in the region.
