Amman, March 2 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II, during a phone call with Italy Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Sunday, discussed the dangerous escalation in the region.

His Majesty reaffirmed Jordan’s rejection of the attacks on its territory and a number of Arab countries, emphasizing the need to utilize dialogue as a means of resolving crises.

For her part, the Italian prime minister condemned the Iranian attacks, affirming her country’s commitment to working with Jordan and partners to achieve regional calm.
