King Physical Fitness Award Tests Begin in Northern Mazar District Schools

Irbid, March 30 (Petra) -- Tests for the King Abdullah II Award for Physical Fitness kicked off on Monday at the Northern Mazar District Education Directorate, with broad participation from school students as part of the award’s twentieth edition at the Ministry of Education level.
The tests were conducted at several centers, including Al-Mazar Comprehensive Secondary Mixed School, Houfa Al-Mazar Secondary School for Girls, and Jahfiya Secondary School for Boys, where students were evaluated across the award’s five components: speed and agility, trunk and arm flexion, flexibility, and running.
Director of the Northern Mazar District Education Directorate, Omaima Al-Masri, said the award aims to enhance students’ physical fitness, develop a spirit of challenge and perseverance, and promote healthy lifestyles, in line with His Majesty King Abdullah II's vision to prepare a generation with sound health behaviors.
She added that the directorate is keen to provide all requirements and facilities for participating schools and students to achieve the best results, boost students’ self-confidence, and foster a spirit of competition.
