Amman, March 3 (Petra)-His Majesty King Abdullah II received a phone call from Greece Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Tuesday, during which they discussed the need to respect the sovereignty of countries and de-escalate tensions in the region.

His Majesty emphasised the need for effective international coordination to spare the region the repercussions of the current crisis.

The King also reiterated that Jordan will continue to take all necessary measures to preserve its security, the safety of its citizens, and its sovereignty.
