King receives call from India PM

Amman, March 19 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II received a phone call from India Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, during which they discussed ways to de-escalate tensions in the region.
The call addressed the need to mobilise international efforts and maintain coordination in order to achieve comprehensive de-escalation, thereby preventing the conflict from spreading further in the region.
His Majesty emphasised the importance of utilising dialogue and diplomatic channels to resolve the conflict and restore regional stability. The King also expressed his condolences to the prime minister over the loss of Indian lives during the Iranian attacks on Arab countries.
