Amman, July 9 (Petra) -- Kuwait’s armed forces on Thursday intercepted three ballistic missiles, one cruise missile, and 10 hostile drones that entered the country’s airspace, with one person injured and material damage reported from falling debris, the Ministry of Defense said.
Ministry spokesperson Col. Staff Saud Al-Attwan said the injured person was receiving necessary medical care and that the condition was stable.
According to the official Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al-Attwan said the attacks caused material damage as debris fell in several locations across the country.
Earlier, Kuwait strongly condemned the attacks as a dangerous escalation that heightens regional tensions and threatens peace and security, affirming its right to take all necessary measures to protect its territory and national security.
