Maan, Dec. 9 (Petra) Maan Governor Khalid Hajaj held a meeting on Tuesday with Chairwoman of the Maan Governorate Council Committee, Aida Khatab, and council members at the council headquarters to discuss preparations for the first investment conference to be organized by the council in February, as well as the progress of developmental and service projects in the governorate.

The meeting reviewed preparations for the conference, under the slogan "Towards Sustainable Investment," which aims to highlight available investment opportunities and present a comprehensive investment map for the governorate.

Officials discussed projects included in the 2025 budget, including completed projects, ongoing works, and projects awarded to contractors, alongside the progress achieved by the governorate council committee, which has made notable advances in a short period.

Hajaj stressed that the investment conference represents a real opportunity to enhance the investment environment in Maan, attract high-quality investments aligned with development priorities, and generate positive impacts for local residents and the regional economy.

He praised the high achievement rates realized in less than six months and emphasized the importance of continued coordination and joint efforts to strengthen the developmental path and build on current progress.

The governor called for early implementation of projects in the Maan 2026 budget to ensure developmental goals are met within the planned timeframe, highlighting the need to intensify efforts to benefit the governorate and its citizens.

Hajaj affirmed his full support for the council committee’s work and his commitment to removing any obstacles that might hinder progress, enhancing the council’s capacity to efficiently implement its programs and projects.
