Madaba, Sept. 5 (Petra) -- The Shabab42 Foundation, which is implementing a project funded by the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) to raise awareness of women's political participation in Madaba, organized a dialogue session bringing together MP Dina Al-Bashir and a group of young women from the governorate to discuss women's political participation and their role in party and political life.

The session addressed the importance of strengthening the presence of Jordanian women in the political arena and encouraging young women to engage in public and party activities. Participants also discussed the main challenges facing women in reaching decision-making positions and participating effectively in political life.

Al-Bashir stressed the importance of young people's role, particularly that of young women, in shaping the future of political and party life in Jordan. She said effective political participation begins with awareness of rights and responsibilities, as well as the ability to engage in dialogue and raise issues affecting society.

The meeting featured an open discussion between Al-Bashir and the participating young women, during which they exchanged views and raised questions about women's experiences in political and party work, as well as ways to strengthen their participation and expand their presence in positions of responsibility and decision-making.
