New York, June 22 (Petra) -- The U.S. technology-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index fell by 351 points on Monday to close at 26,166, marking a decline of 1.32 percent.

In contrast, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 147 points to 51,712, an increase of 0.29 percent, while the S&P 500 index slipped by nearly 27 points to close at 7,473, down 0.37 percent.

Meanwhile, U.S. benchmark crude oil, West Texas Intermediate (WTI), remained unchanged at $75.19 per barrel.
