Normal summer conditions forecast for weekend

Amman, Aug. 7 (Petra)-- The Kingdom is forecast to experience normal summer conditions across most areas on Friday, with hot weather prevailing in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba.
Low-level clouds are expected to appear over parts of the northern Kingdom, while northwesterly winds will be moderate, occasionally picking up.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, similar weather conditions are expected on Saturday, with normal summer weather in most areas and hot conditions in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Northwesterly winds will be moderate, becoming occasionally active.
On Sunday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, bringing relatively hot conditions to most areas and hot weather to the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate, occasionally picking up.
A further slight rise in temperatures is forecast for Monday, with relatively hot conditions prevailing across most areas and hot weather continuing in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Northwesterly winds will remain moderate and occasionally active.
Temperatures in East Amman are expected to range between 33 C and 21 C, compared with 30 C and 18 C in West Amman, 28 C and 14 C in the northern highlands, 30 C and 16 C in the Sharah Mountains, 37 C and 22 C in the Badia, and 32 C and 17 C in the plains.
In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will range between 39 C and 23 C, while the southern Jordan Valley will see 41 C and 27 C. Temperatures in the Dead Sea area will reach 39 C, with a low of 25 C, while Aqaba is expected to record 40 C and 27 C.
