Amman, July 29 (Petra) – The Northern Military Zone foiled an infiltration attempt Wednesday morning by a person trying to cross the border illegally.

The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army said Border Guard Forces detected the individual, applied the rules of engagement, and arrested him. He was referred to the relevant authorities for legal action.

The armed forces reaffirmed that they would continue countering infiltration and smuggling attempts to protect Jordan’s borders and security.
