One Dead, Seven Missing After Migrant Boat Sinks in Aegean Sea

Amman, Jan 10 (Petra) - Turkish authorities reported the death of one person and seven others missing after a boat carrying migrants sank on Saturday in the Aegean Sea off Turkiye.

The Turkish Coast Guard said its teams rescued 37 passengers from the inflatable boat that went down near Dikili, north of Izmir, and search operations are ongoing for the missing individuals.
