Amman, July 27 (Petra) – Orange Jordan has become the first telecommunications company worldwide to receive the 6-star Recognition of Excellence certification under the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Excellence Model, the company announced Monday.

The certification was awarded by the King Abdullah II Center for Excellence, the EFQM's representative in Jordan.

According to a company statement, the recognition reflects Orange Jordan's performance across several areas, including vision-driven leadership, customer focus, continuous innovation, employee empowerment, sustainable value creation and the delivery of long-term results with a positive societal impact.

Speaking during a ceremony held Sunday to mark the achievement, Orange Jordan CEO Philippe Mansour described the certification as a major milestone in the company's journey toward institutional excellence. He said the recognition reaffirms the company's commitment to Jordan and the communities it serves, while underscoring its continued investment in the Kingdom's digital future.

Executive Director of the King Abdullah II Center for Excellence Widad Qutaishat said Orange Jordan's adoption of the EFQM Excellence Model provides an inspiring example for Jordanian institutions, demonstrating that organizational excellence is an ongoing process of continuous improvement, innovation and development rather than a one-time achievement.

She said the Excellence Recognition Program provides organizations with a comprehensive framework to assess institutional performance, identify opportunities for improvement and strengthen a culture of innovation and sustainability.

Qutaishat added that Orange Jordan's achievement reflects its commitment to implementing international best practices and its ability to deliver sustainable institutional performance in line with the highest global standards, making it the first telecommunications company worldwide to attain the 6-star level of recognition under the EFQM Excellence Model.
