Amman, Oct. 20 (Petra) -- The National Center for Curriculum Development has reported strong public engagement with its newly launched electronic platform, which has gathered 256 comments and suggestions on school curricula within its first month of operation.

Launched on September 9, the platform is part of a broader initiative to open dialogue with educators, students, and parents, allowing them to actively participate in shaping the future of education in the Kingdom.

According to a statement issued Monday, the largest portion of feedback came from teachers, who accounted for 40.6% of submissions. Students contributed 28.1%, followed by parents at 20.7%, while educational supervisors and subject-matter experts made up around 5%.

The center emphasized that the platform is a step toward inclusive and responsive curriculum development, ensuring it evolves in line with both national priorities and global educational trends. All submissions are carefully reviewed by expert curriculum development teams, with viable suggestions considered for future textbook revisions.

The center welcomed the early enthusiasm shown by the education community and wider public, noting that the high level of participation reflects a deepening sense of shared responsibility in improving the quality of education.

It also encouraged continued input through the platform, available at nccd.gov.jo, reinforcing that curriculum development is not just a technical process but a collective national effort aimed at equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need for the future.
