Amman, June 17 (Petra) -- Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Wednesday praised Jordan's national football team for its performance at the FIFA World Cup, commending the players for representing the Kingdom with distinction on the global stage.
In a post on X platform, Hassan thanked the national team for raising Jordan's flag high at the World Cup, praising their efforts in the opening match in the tournament.
"Thank you to our national team's Nashama, who raised Jordan's flag high at the FIFA World Cup. You delivered a distinguished performance in your first match," Hassan said.
He added that all Jordanians stand behind the team and take pride in its achievements, expressing confidence in the players and wishing them success in the upcoming matches.
