Ajloun/Irbid, March 3 (Petra) – Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Tuesday conducted field inspections in Sakhra District of Ajloun Governorate and Northern Mazar District of Irbid Governorate, issuing directives to enhance productive sectors and upgrade public services as part of ongoing monitoring tours.

The Prime Minister began his visit in Sakhra with a tour of Durrat Amoun Food Industries Company, established in 2015 and exporting to several Arab markets. In the presence of Minister of Agriculture Saeb Khraisat, he instructed that necessary facilitation be provided to enable the company to complete its planned expansion and relocation this year, increasing production capacity and export lines. He also directed that the company be included in the food industries incentive program to support job creation for local residents.

Hassan also visited Traditional Fashion Company for Garment Manufacturing, founded in 2017 and employing 500 Jordanians. He directed support for the establishment of an additional branch this year, expected to generate 1,200 new jobs. The company currently operates 18 branches nationwide, with exports reaching nearly JD700 million last year.

In the presence of Minister of Labor Khaled Bakkar, the Prime Minister instructed relevant authorities to examine expanding health insurance coverage for workers in production branches and to broaden vocational training institute programs by introducing specialized courses in garment manufacturing to enhance workforce skills and productivity.

In Northern Mazar District, Hassan visited the Irhaba Charitable Society, established in 1983 and providing educational, vocational and social services to the local community. In the presence of Minister of Social Development Wafaa Bani Mustafa, he directed a comprehensive rehabilitation of the society’s facilities, the provision of necessary equipment and supplies, transportation services for beneficiaries, and expansion of outreach activities.

The Prime Minister also inspected Irhaba Comprehensive Secondary School for Girls, which serves around 500 students. In the presence of Minister of Education Azmi Mahafza, he directed a full maintenance project, including facility upgrades and equipping laboratories with modern instructional equipment.

During a visit to Samad and Za’tara Primary Health Center, and in the presence of Minister of Health Ibrahim Bdour, Hassan instructed authorities to expedite securing an alternative building and to carry out necessary maintenance on the current facility pending relocation.

He further directed the upgrade of Irhaba Primary Health Center to a comprehensive health center operating 24 hours a day to expand service delivery. Support was also ordered for the newly established Early Intervention Unit, set to commence operations in April, including provision of transportation for beneficiaries across seven villages in the district.

In Taybeh District, the Prime Minister ordered accelerated procedures to improve health and education infrastructure, including expediting tendering for Taybeh Basic Mixed School and commencing construction early next month, completing maintenance at Taybeh Basic School for Boys by the end of this month, and finalizing studies to begin construction of a 12-classroom school in Deir al-Sa'neh.

He also directed completion of procedures to receive Summa Abu al-Tuyour School ahead of the next academic year, accelerated construction of a replacement building for Summa Primary Health Center, and provision of medical equipment and staffing to Taybeh Comprehensive Health Center.
