Princess Alia inaugurates PAUC's gymnasium, classroom building

Salt, July 19 (Petra) – Her Royal Highness Princess Alia bint Al Hussein on Sunday inaugurated the newly renovated gymnasium at Princess Alia University College (PAUC), affiliated with Al-Balqaʼ Applied University (BAU), as the renovation cost amounted for JD280,000.
During the inauguration ceremony, which was attended by BAU Chairman Dr. Ahmed Fakhri Ajlouni, who briefed Her Royal Highness about the project and its implementation phases.
Touring the college facilities, Her Royal Highness inspected several projects and initiatives.
The Princess then inaugurated the new classroom building, unveiling the commemorative plaque and was briefed on its construction phases.
The building, which cost JD1,835,697 to construct, represents a "significant" addition to the college's infrastructure, contributing to a Vmodern and advanced" learning environment.
Additional construction work at the college, costing JD825,306, was also carried out as part of the university's ongoing efforts to develop its facilities and enhance its infrastructure.
For his part, Ajlouni said Her Royal Highness's visit represents "significant" support for the university's progress and its efforts to develop its educational system.
He added that the move reflects Her Royal Highness's interest in strengthening the role of higher education institutions and enhancing the university environment to "better serve students and support their academic journey." Additionally, he stated the university continues to implement its development programs and plans, aimed at modernizing its academic and service facilities and providing an advanced and stimulating learning environment.
This effort, he noted, would contribute to improving quality of the educational process and enhancing its outcomes, in line with its vision, mission, and strategic goals.
