Amman, Jan. 20 (Petra) - Princess Dina Mired visited the Specialty Hospital as part of her follow-up on the health conditions of several child patients arriving from the Gaza Strip, who are receiving treatment in Jordan under the Royal Initiative to evacuate and treat 2,000 sick and wounded children from the Strip. She was received by the hospital’s Director General, Fawzi Al-Hammouri, in the presence of Mohammad Taher, Chief Surgeon at Fajr Global Foundation, and representatives of the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) and the Children Not Numbers Organization.

According to a hospital statement issued on Tuesday, Princess Dina was briefed during the visit on the medical conditions of the patients and the details of the treatment plans for each case. She also presented gifts to the patients in a humanitarian gesture that helped raise their morale and ease their suffering during the course of treatment.

Princess Dina Mired, who is a royal and global health advocate, praised the efforts exerted by the management of the Specialty Hospital and its medical, nursing, and administrative staff, commending the advanced level of healthcare services provided and the hospital’s role in mobilizing its medical and technical capabilities to address humanitarian cases arriving from the Gaza Strip.

For his part, Al-Hammouri affirmed that the Specialty Hospital will continue to fulfill its humanitarian and medical role by receiving patients from the Gaza Strip and providing them with the necessary healthcare, ensuring quality treatment and continuity of medical follow-up in line with the highest standards.

The patients’ companions expressed their profound thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II for launching the Jordanian Medical Corridor Initiative, praising the humanitarian efforts made in caring for the patients.

They also expressed their happiness at the visit of Princess Dina Mired and extended their thanks to the management of the Specialty Hospital and to the supporting health and humanitarian institutions for the care and attention provided to patients and their families.
