Amman, April 28 (Petra) -- Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) has successfully expanded its global connectivity during the first quarter of 2026, launching four new routes in collaboration with the national carrier, Royal Jordanian (RJ).

The new destinations connect Amman to Misrata (Libya), Munich and Hamburg (Germany), and Sharjah (United Arab Emirates). While Misrata, Munich, and Hamburg are entirely new additions to the airport’s broader network, the Sharjah route represents a new strategic addition specifically for Royal Jordanian.

The move has reinforced Jordan’s position on the global air connectivity map by strengthening links with key hubs in the Gulf, Europe, and North Africa, supporting its competitiveness as a destination for business and leisure tourism.
