Amman, Sept. 29 (Petra) -- The Royal Naval Force and Royal Boats Command on Tuesday carried out a seabed cleanup campaign at the beach of the Aqaba Marine Reserve Visitor Center, in cooperation with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) and with the participation of a team of divers from the Royal Naval Force and Royal Boats Command, Civil Defense, the Royal Department for Environmental Protection (RDeP), the Aqaba Diving Association, and several schools from the directorates of education in Aqaba Governorate.

These campaigns are organized by Oxfam in Jordan and the Mediterranean Regional Cooperation Programme (Interreg-MED), in cooperation with the European Union Delegation to Jordan and the Aqaba Marine Reserve, with the participation of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

This type of campaign brings together various entities and participants around a shared goal of caring for Aqaba's marine and coastal environment and contributing to the preservation of its beaches and biodiversity.
