Moscow, June 23 (Petra) -- The Russian government announced on Tuesday that it is seriously considering an extension of its export ban on gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel until the end of the current year to satisfy domestic market demand.

The Russian government stated in a press release that the measure is being evaluated to prevent domestic shortages and guarantee steady supplies through the end of the year, noting that Russia continues to supply global energy markets with all other petroleum derivatives.
