Russia extends gasoline export ban through end of year

Moscow, July 28 (Petra) -- The Russian government on Tuesday announced an extension of its gasoline export ban until the end of the year to prioritize domestic market needs, stabilize supplies, and curb fuel price pressures within the country, according to the newly issued decree.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak stated during a press conference that the extension aims to ensure fuel availability for consumers and support internal market stability.
Novak added that the government will continue to closely monitor supply levels and implement necessary measures to maintain market balance and reliably satisfy domestic demand in the coming period.
