Moscow, March 24 (Petra) -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday that Russia is ready to join international mediation efforts aimed at stopping the war in the Middle East and restoring stability.

Lavrov said during a press conference, "We affirm Moscow’s readiness to play a mediating role between Tehran and the United States. Of course, Moscow is ready to join mediation efforts.
