Beirut, May 7 (Petra) – Six Lebanese citizens were killed and another injured on Thursday in a series of Israeli airstrikes and drone attacks targeting the towns of Habboush, Mayfadoun, Qusaibah, and Khirbet Selm in southern Lebanon.

A Lebanese security source told the Jordan News Agency’s correspondent in Beirut that the airstrikes caused extensive destruction and also struck several villages in southern Lebanon, coinciding with intense artillery shelling and heavy Israeli air activity over the region.
