SOS Children’s Villages Jordan to Launch ‘Happiness Carnival’ in 3 Cities

Amman, Aug. 12 (Petra) – SOS Children’s Villages Jordan announced Wednesday it will launch its "Happiness Carnival" on Thursday, as 3 consecutive events will be held at its villages in Amman, Irbid, and Aqaba.

In a statement, the organization said the carnival is intended to provide a space for children, young people, families, and local communities to meet and interact.

The gala will also give visitors an opportunity to learn more about SOS Children’s Villages and take part in recreational activities.

The events are free and open to the public. The Aqaba event will be held Thursday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., with exclusive support from Jordan Bromine Company.

Meanwhile, the Irbid event will take place on Thursday, Aug. 20, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., with support from Unipal Jordan.

The Amman event will be held on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., under the patronage of South African Ambassador to Jordan Tselane Mokuena, with support from Capital Bank and Gulf Insurance Group - Jordan.

The organization said these events will feature family-oriented activities, including face painting, magic and entertainment shows, inflatable games, and other recreational programs.

The carnival will also feature a bazaar bringing together local community participants, providing women and small-business owners with an opportunity to display their products and support local enterprise and community participation.
