Sterling rises against US dollar and euro

London, July 8 (Petra) – The British pound strengthened against the US dollar and the euro on Wednesday, according to data from British financial markets.

Sterling rose 0.12 per cent against the US dollar to $1.33691 and gained 0.17 per cent against the euro to €1.17205.
