Amman, April 13 (Petra) – Mild and sunny conditions will prevail across most of Jordan on Monday, while warmer weather is forecast for the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Moderate northwestern winds are expected throughout the day. In East Amman, temperatures will fluctuate between a high of 19 C and a low of 10 C, while West Amman will see a range of 17 C to 8 C. Northern and southern highlands will experience cooler highs between 15 C and 16 C, dropping to as low as 6 C at night.

A significant rise in temperatures is anticipated on Tuesday, bringing mercury levels back to their seasonal averages. The JMD expects moderate spring conditions across most regions and warmer weather in the Jordan Valley and southern coastal areas, accompanied by moderate southeastern winds.

The warming trend will intensify Wednesday and Thursday, with temperatures trending relatively warm across the country and reaching "relatively hot" levels in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Clouds are expected to appear at medium and high altitudes, while active southeastern winds may trigger dust storms, particularly in the Kingdom’s Badia regions.

Maximum temperatures in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba are expected to reach between 27 C and 31 C over the next 48 hours.
