Transport minister, Dutch ambassador talk cooperation

Amman, March 31 (Petra) – Minister of Transport, Dr. Nidal Qatamin, discussed with the Dutch Ambassador to Jordan, Stella Kluth, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various transport sectors.
During the meeting held at the ministry's headquarters on Tuesday, Qatamin emphasized the "deep-rooted" friendly relations, noting the importance of developing bilateral cooperation in the transport sector across all land, maritime, and air modes, as well as regional rail connectivity projects with Arab countries.
Qatamin stated this cooperation would contribute to strengthening regional integration and stimulating trade.
He also reviewed the key "strategic" projects currently being implemented by the sector, particularly in developing transport infrastructure and upgrading logistics services, which would enhance Jordan's position as a "regional hub" for transport and services.
In turn, Kluth expressed her country's appreciation for the "strong" relations between Jordan and the Netherlands.
The diplomat affirmed her government's commitment to expanding the joint cooperation horizons, mainly in the transport areas, exchange of technical expertise, and support for projects of mutual interest.
