Amman, March 23 (Petra) – US President Donald Trump said Monday that ongoing talks with Iran could pave the way for a broad agreement and a new phase of stability in the Middle East.
Speaking to reporters in Florida, Trump said negotiations are progressing toward a potential 15-point agreement, adding that several key issues have already been resolved, increasing the likelihood of a comprehensive deal to ease regional tensions.
He added that the talks, which began last Saturday, have been "fruitful" and are focused on reaching understandings that would help end the conflict and enhance regional stability.
Trump said advancing the understandings could usher in a new era of peace in the Middle East, adding that their success would contribute to a more secure global environment.
